Age and Driving Experience

These are two key criteria when choosing a car. We work with different insurance companies, each of which has its own requirements for the driver. For each car on our site, exact information about the minimum age and driving experience is provided.

• Minimum age: from 21 to 23 years old depending on the car
• Minimum driving experience: from 1 to 3 years depending on the car

If your age and experience exceed the stated thresholds, you may choose any car on the site.

Documents and Booking

To rent a car through our service, you will need a valid passport and a category B driver’s license. In most cases, this is sufficient. However, if your national driver’s license is not recognized in Georgia (for example, a UAE-issued license), an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required. If you are unsure — please contact support, and we will advise you.

The booking process is very simple and takes only a couple of minutes. You need to select a car and provide the following details:

• Driver’s first and last name
• Rental dates, time, and location
• Contact information

No prepayment required — you do not pay anything on the site. Payment is made only when receiving the car and signing the contract with the company representative.

Insurance

All cars on the anycars.rent site are fully insured. The rental price already includes comprehensive coverage of CDW + TPL:

• CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) — coverage for damage expenses to the rented car.
• TPL (Third Party Liability) — coverage for damage caused to other road users.

This is basic insurance, and you do not need to pay extra for it. However, there are important exceptions: if the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if the accident was not properly reported to the police, the insurance coverage is voided and the renter assumes full responsibility.

Deposit

Some cars on the site do not require a deposit, but for most vehicles it ranges from 300 to 800 GEL. If everything goes smoothly, the deposit is fully refunded at the end of the rental.

The deposit serves as a guarantee against:

• unpaid traffic fines,
• returning the car with an incomplete fuel tank,
• interior dirtiness or other unforeseen expenses.

If the car is returned on time, without damage, with a full tank, and no fines, the deposit is returned in full.

Note: the deposit does not limit the renter’s financial responsibility. In cases of serious violations or insurance exceptions, additional charges may apply.

Car Delivery and Return

The most convenient and popular option is delivery of the car to your address: hotel, apartment, or directly to the airport. This is especially convenient if you have just arrived and want to start your trip immediately or get to your hotel without worrying about transfer.

You can also pick up the car yourself from one of our bases. In some cases, this can help save on rental costs.

We operate in all major cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi. It is possible to rent a car with pick-up in one city and return in another — for example, you can easily take a car in Tbilisi and return it in Batumi.

When receiving the car, a company representative will provide instructions, help document the car’s condition, accept payment, and sign the rental agreement.

Usage Territory

You are free to travel throughout Georgia with the rented car — there are no toll roads here, but there are some important restrictions to be aware of:

• Crossing the borders of Georgia is not allowed. Currently, our cars are only intended for trips within the country. Traveling to Turkey, Armenia, or Azerbaijan with a rented car is not permitted.
• Abkhazia and South Ossetia are prohibited. Trips to these regions are strictly forbidden for safety reasons and lack of insurance coverage.
• Some roads are not suitable for all cars. Georgia has stretches that are too dangerous or rough for a standard rental car. If you plan an unusual route — just contact us, and we will advise you if it’s possible to drive there.

Otherwise, Georgia is a welcoming and convenient country for travel: it offers many beautiful, safe, and accessible routes.

Additional Expenses

When renting a car, keep in mind that additional costs may apply in certain cases. Here are the main ones:

• Car wash. If the car is returned very dirty, a fee for professional cleaning will be charged. The cost usually ranges from 20 to 30 GEL, depending on the degree of dirtiness.
• Traffic and parking fines. If fines are issued during the rental period, they will be deducted from the deposit or paid separately.
• Car damage. If damages exceed insurance coverage or if no police report was made, the renter is fully responsible for repairs.
• Additional equipment. Upon request, you can order options like a child seat, GPS navigator, and others — it is advisable to do this in advance to ensure availability.

Booking Cancellation

If you change your mind — just inform us in any convenient way. We do not charge cancellation fees but ask that you notify us as soon as possible to free the car for other clients.
